Senggigi is the main tourism centre on Lombok. Here are the most important bars and discos, clubs and hotels on the island. All diving clubs in Lombok maintain offices here and the car or motorcycle distributors Are concentrated here. The South and particularly the South West of Lombok evolve in the last few years. A new International Airport in Central Lombok is under construction wich makes the southern regions of the island much more attractive. It already attracts lots of guests with it's beautiful diving spots and unspoiled nature. New resorts are planned or already under construction such as the "Dolphins Paradise Resort" or "Sundancer Villas. Both are luxury holiday that increase the economy in the region. The infrastructure is improving steadily and Lombok is reaching the popularity of Bali if it's about new resort projects.
